Kasha Marie Perry is the definition of empowered Mama. Ahead of Mother’s Day she shares her story of giving birth in Quarantine, building her brand and what she loves about being a Mom.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

My name is Kasha, I’m 28 years old. I’m a mom of 3 girls and married to my middle school love & best friend. I’m a stay-at-home mom building a brand. Our family just started a family YouTube Channel called “Life in the Fierce Lane.”

HOW HAS BEING A MOM CHANGED YOU?

Being a mom COMPLETELY changed my life. Mentally I have transitioned into a woman I’m falling in love with more and more as time passes. Motherhood brought me on my spiritual journey as well as my self love journey. I truly believe we need to love ourselves in order to be the best parent we can be! Being a mom also ignited my creative passions. Now I have little girls to prove that following your dreams is risky, but we can achieve absolutely anything we work hard for!

HOW ARE YOU HANDLING QUARANTINE LIFE AS A MOM?

I gave birth the same week we became Quarantined. My 2 babes couldn’t meet their sister until we got home so times were different for sure. I got home and immediately had to become a first-grade teacher to my 7-year-old, and a strong Mama of 3 babes while my husband continues to work 2 jobs. Some days are great, and I love the routine and finding balance. Other days I’m crying in the shower. I’m remaining positive and finding ways each day to push through and make my family happy.

WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION?

This sounds crazy - but ME. I’m my biggest inspiration. I’ve been at such high points in my life where I’ve talked myself through the hardest experiences and have made myself so proud. I constantly compare myself to myself and reflect on how far I’ve come, and this inspires me every single day!

WE’RE ALL ABOUT PROMOTING SELF-LOVE. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUALITY ABOUT YOURSELF?

I love that I’m unapologetically me. I am raw, unfiltered, and this inspires others to embrace themselves as well.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE OH LÀ LÀ CHÉRI LINGERIE PIECE AND WHY?

I LOVE the Gisela Tiger Print striped robe! I used to sleep in this a ton when I was pregnant! It’s silky smooth and still made me feel so sexy! I love that to me it reflects strength like that quote “Mama earned her stripes” regarding stretch marks & scars. Who doesn’t feel like a boss when they wear an animal print?!?

YOU’RE A MOM INFLUENCER WHO REPRESENTS A SHIFT IN HOW WE VIEW THE REALITY OF PARENTING WHILST REMAINING SEXY, CAN YOU EXPLAIN YOUR FEELINGS ON THIS?

I truly believe before we are a “Mom”, we are women. We must embrace our sexuality, and what empowers us. If we don’t love ourselves first and embrace ourselves natural, how can we be strong mothers and teach our babes to be the same, strong individuals? I believe in expressing ourselves through doing what makes us feel empowered. I embrace my natural body, my progressions and downfalls to show women it’s okay to love ourselves out loud - in each & every way.

WHEN YOU DO YOU FEEL YOUR MOST EMPOWERED AND BEAUTIFUL?

I feel so beautiful when I’m taking photos with my girls, or in a new outfit. But I also feel empowered at my rawest, because I feel brave and strong being so vulnerable. Of course there’s days when I second guess myself. Usually on those days I’ll receive kindness from a stranger explaining how much I’ve resonated with them. I’d have to say these are the moments I feel most empowered and beautiful!
